798 Art District

Populated with art galleries and shops, the 798 Art District was an area full of military-industrial factories in the 1950s.  It has since been developed into an artists’ community, holding notable exhibitions since 2003.


Red Gate Gallery

Beijing’s first contemporary art gallery founded by an expatriate, the location of this gallery in the ancient Dongbianmen Watchtower itself offers a unique experience for art appreciation.


Today’s Art Museum

Founded and managed by Chinese art experts, this is the first not-for-profit, independent art museum in China.  It aims to promote Chinese contemporary art based on an international vision and a contemporary ideology.
